Authentication & Valuation Service
We provide both an on-line and in-house authentication & valuation service to give extra assurance when buying or selling pre-loved designer handbags and accessories. We are a chosen Authenticator in Europe & United Kingdom for pre-loved designer fashion marketplace 'Designer Wardrobe' when they require authentication of a luxury piece listed on their site. We also offer authentications and valuations for insurance purposes and work with insurance companies on claims, new policies and policy updates. We work with pre-loved designer sellers, as well as leading Europe auction houses. We provide supporting documentation if you need to file a claim with, for example, eBay or Paypal, or if you need to initiate a credit card chargeback with your local bank. We also offer guidance on the process of receiving a refund in various purchase scenarios, both local and overseas.

Our standard turn-around time for on-line authentication/ valuation, once payment is confirmed, is 48 hours Monday through Friday. Please note this is indicative only, we frequently are able to have assessments completed sooner than this and if you require urgent assistance, we are always happy to accommodate this where possible.
For Chanel serial series 15XXXXXX and over, we generally offer in-house authentication/ valuation only at a charge of $125 for authentication of bags and wallets, however there are instances where we can assist online. If valuation for insurance purposes is also required, the additional charge for any item is $50. Other brands and models are also available for in-house authentication/ valuation by request, at a charge of $175 for authentication of Hermès bags and wallets, $125 for Chanel bags and wallets and for all other brands, $95 for bags/ WOCs and $75 for wallets. If valuation is also required, the additional charge for any item is $50.

On-line and in-house pricing includes email confirmation only, a formal letterhead stating opinion of authenticity/ non-authenticity, or for valuation purposes, is available on request for both on-line and in-house, the additional charge for this is $50 per item. A formal letterhead features a portfolio of photos and includes a detailed outline in case of non-authenticity. For all authentications and valuations we keep photos and full details of our findings on file. These may be re-confirmed or referenced at any stage at a later date in time when needed; including, for example, in the instance of an insurance claim, sale to a third party or for the purpose of dispute resolution.
